FAQ's

I have never done Reformer Pilates before. Can I join?

YES! We welcome new clients. Please just arrive a little early and let us know, so we are able to introduce the machines to you before class starts. The most suitable classes for you are the LIGHT or the FULL BODY options. We have an Introductory Offer of 3 classes so you can purchase this block and book 3 different classes in on different days and times to see what you prefer.

Do I have to go to the same class every day/time?

No, you can use your credits to book whichever classes suit you.

I have an injury, can I still join?

It depends on your injury. Please email us at hello@mypilateshouse.co.uk. We may suggest one to one Pilates in some cases but we are happy to chat and advise you.

Is there parking?

YES! We have a car park for you. When you arrive on-site, please turn right into the “Guest Parking”. IMPORTANT: Please do not park in front of the studio in the corporate marked bays.

Are there toilets and changing rooms?

We do have an emergency toilet on-site, but we would advise visiting the toilet before arrival as we are in a shared facility. There are unfortunately no changing rooms onsite.

What do I wear?

Wear normal workout clothes like leggings, soft trousers, vest tops and a thin jumper. We would ask you to not wear anything with zips or items that may stick into your body or the leather on the machines whilst you are participating. It can be uncomfortable and/or tear/mark the leather. We ask you to wear sticky/grippy socks for classes for health and safety reasons. Please do not wear normal socks as these can slip. We will be offering socks to purchase at the studio soon.

What do I bring?

Please bring a bottle of water and your sticky socks. Plus lots of energy for your Pilates class. That is all!

How do I book?

CLICK HERE to go through to our booking system. You will need to register for an account and then buy your membership or class pack before you book into your classes. It is very simple and straightforward. You can use the website or App version. Download the App at the App Store or Pay Store depending on your phone.

Do you have a waitlist?

YES! If classes are full put yourself on the waitlist. If a spot becomes available, the system will add you in automatically and give you 30 minutes to confirm that spot. If you do not confirm within the timeframe, you will be taken off the class so that the next person is given the option to join. With only 10 spaces available, we try to ensure the waitlist is as fair as possible.

How far in advance can I book classes?

We open bookings 45 days beforehand so you can book yourself in way ahead if you are organised. Please only book classes that you intend to make.

What happens if I cannot make class?

You have up until 4 hours before the class starts to cancel or amend your booking to another day/time. After this point, your class credit cannot be reused. With our small class numbers, we must operate a strict policy here to ensure we offer a fair system for all.

What is the black out window?

The hours between 11pm-5am are not taken into consideration with the cancellation policy. For example if your class is at 7am and you cannot make it, your 4 hour window would start at 9pm so you must cancel by 9pm to avoid losing your credit.

I do not want to commit to a monthly membership what else is there?

We allow PAYG bookings as well as class packs of 6 or 10. These have different expiry dates and no monthly commitment.

Is there a discount for family members?

YES! You can have a family account. The family manager pays for a membership in full and then a family member can be added with a 10% discount. Please email us at hello@mypilateshouse.co.uk to talk to us about this.

Can I pause my membership?

YES! We allow a one month membership pause should you have an injury or other extenuating circumstances, please email hello@mypilateshouse.co.uk to organise this.

How early do I need to turn up for my class?

We would please ask you to turn up no more than 5 minutes before the class and to be on time. The doors to the studio open directly into the class. It can be quite disruptive to the teacher and other clients if you are running late.

Are the gates always open to the site?
